Yoof Noos - The Nat Youth Omnium Series

Our young riders did us proud, flying the Vital colours at Newport, Herne Hill and Manchester in the finals of the Youth Omnium Series. Dan Whelan was 14th in the Under 14 boys, Jess Anderson was 4th in the U14 girls - definately punching above her weight against riders from Palmer Park in Reading, and Jo Wilman won the Under16 girls.

There was some great racing in all three rounds of the final - the tactical awareness, skill and speed of the youth of today (no wonder adults are always complaining about them).
