Day 3:
ANTHONY GILL WINS EUROPEAN MASTERS 30-34 SPRINT TITLE!
Passed through the earlier round with ease winning by the full length of the home straight on almost all occasions until he met Bruce Croall in the Final. Ant won 2-0 in the final and qualified fastest with a 10.9!

Gwyn got a Silver Medal in the sprints tonight! Also progressing through the early rounds with ease. Racing against fastest qualifier Lee Povey in the final.

Gwyn Carless - European Masters Champion '08

Congratulations to Gwyn on an outstanding kilo ride on Monday night at the Euro Masters at Manchester, recording a 1:09 to win gold.

Ski backed up his Nationals Masters silver with another 53 secs ride in the 750mm time trial to take 6th place.

Derek Smith and Tracy Crolla were also in action on the opening day ; both riding well and up there mixing it at the front. Confirmation of their placings to follow once my man on the inside gets back to me.

Well done all of you and good luck to all riders taking part this week.

Masters Track Champs

Good luck to our riders at the Masters this weekend in Newport.
Ant G, Si, Gwyn, Ski in the sprint events.
Derek doing all events as usual - to show us all up :-)
Angela in the TT and pursuit and myself in the endurance events.

Also this year there are CWD and open events where we will also be well represented with Ellen and Aileen and, Ant (Jam-Man) entered. No details on the entry who Ant has teamed with but no doubt it will be a strong pairing. Jo-Anne Hamon takes part in the womens sprint omnium in a very strong field of international riders.
